For reviewing purposes, I had received an Envibum Diaper in Blue (EnviAqua) from Sentuhan Bayu.

My First Impressions:

• This is my first time with a Minky diaper, and this diaper is SO super fluffy-luscious! You can even use it as a pillow for your baby, haha!
  
• I find the “waffle-like” textured inner to be strange compared to microfleece/microsuede that I’ve been use to.
• Was wondering how to adjust the diapers.. It’s supposed to be one-sized but how come there are no snaps to set the sizes?
• It doesn’t come with any packaging, so I have to look online for more info about usage, washing instructions, etc.
  

MY USAGE:

Upon receival, I prewashed the diapers once. I machine wash the diapers every 2-3 days using Pureen HAD detergent, and line dry. The diapers were used on my then 2 month old baby. I have managed to use them for around 3 months. I line them with fleece liners.

HOW TO USE ENVIBUM DIAPERS:

1. Firstly, there is one absorbency pad to be inserted into the diapers before use. Just attach on the inside of the diapers with the velcro, so it doesn’t move around.
2. No need t0 adjust any size settings with snaps or whatsoever. The unique design will enable the diaper to automatically adjust itself according to baby’s size. I like this!
   
3. Simply fasten the velcro to your baby’s waist size and that’s it!

THE FITTING & FUNCTION:

• Fitting: Due to the unique design, Envibum diapers adjusts proportionately to your baby’s size, and it DOES! I’m still wondering how it works, and I think it’s a really smart feature (It has hidden elastics at the front, that’s the secret). It fits really well, even on my small baby, and hugs the thighs snugly too. I have never experienced any leaks from the legs or the back, even though my baby was on explosive runny poop period.
  
• Absorbency: As mentioned before, I never had any pee or poop leaking from these diapers. I’m not worried to put it on for an extended period because even if the diaper is “overloaded”, everything will still “remain” inside
  
• Velcro Closure: It’s really easy to put the diaper on baby because of the velcro closures. Plus, if baby is very small, fasten the velcro on the applique to get an even smaller waist setting.
  
• Others: I find the cutting to be wide around the crotch for a small baby (since it’s one-sized). The diaper is a little bit bulky on him at 2 months. It fits much better now that he’s 5 months though. Also, the “textured” cotton inner takes some time getting used to. For me personally, I line the diaper with a fleece liner simply because I feel my baby will be more comfortable touching the fleece instead of the “waffle-like” textures. This also made washing up so much easier (especially with runny newborn poop).

WHAT I LIKE:

• The no adjust feature is very smart and fuss-free. I love that you never have to adjust the sizing for newborn right up to toddler-hood.
• Diaper is very good quality. Even after 3 months of usage and washing, and still no signs of wear and tear. Added plus: it’s 100% natural cotton material!
  
• I really really adore the minky fabric because it’s super fluffy yet durable (no signs of it “shedding” after 3 months, hehe). I love that baby’s waist and tummy is covered with the minky fabric on the inside too. Baby’s bum looks so cute in them
  
• The textured inner helps in poop and pee containment because they simply STAYS on the inner – no leaks!
  

FEEDBACK & SUGGESTIONS:

• The “waffle-like” textured inner REALLY needs some getting used to. It’s not smooth like microfleece/microsuede. My husband complained and wondered if it is actually comfortable on baby’s skin. Also, the first few times of use I get annoyed that I have to tediously remove newborn poop from the insides. (In the end, I just line them with a fleece liner for easier washing)
• How come there is no packaging or info about usage? Had to search for the info online to know more about its features.
• Can be bulky on smaller babies.
• I removed the absorbency pad from inside the diaper for washing anyway (even though you can just leave it inside), just to ensure thorough cleaning.

Overall, I personally feel that Envibum are diapers with a PERSONALITY It’s unique, one-of-a-kind, good quality materials, and has a nice story behind it too.
